Valorant
Valorant is a free to play first-person arena shooter that was first released on June 2nd, 2020 and was developed by Riot Games. Valorant is a hero shooter with a competitive search and destroy styled primary mode. Tournaments such as the Champions Tour take place globally. Valorant has its own Battle Pass system, the most recent of which was Episode 04: Disruption Act 2.
Weapons Weapons are the primary means of dealing damage in Valorant. They can be purchased during the Buy Round for various amounts of in-game currency and can be used to engage at a variety of different ranges. Different weapons will cost different amounts based on how powerful they are.
Currency Currency can be used to buy various cosmetic in-game items. There are three different types of Currency in Valorant at the moment.
Gunbuddy Gunbuddy’s are cosmetics that hang off the side of a weapon. They can be purchased through the in-game store, earned through contracts or earned as part of the Act’s battle pass.
Battle Pass Battle Passes are cosmetic reward tracks that are released with every Act. They include a variety of cosmetics and can be progressed through by earning XP in games and by completing challenges. Each battle pass has a free track and a track that can be purchased with 1,000 Valorant Points.
Agent Agents are characters in Valorant that have four unique abilities. Agents fit into one of four roles; controller, duelist, initiator or sentinel. Five agents are unlocked by default, but others will have to be unlocked through purchases or through completing their contracts.
Valorant Cards Cards are cosmetics in Valorant that are shown behind a player’s title while in the lobby or the game’s loading screen as well as when a player is killed. They can be unlocked through contracts, the seasonal battle pass or they can be purchased as part of a collection bundle.
Contracts Contracts are in-game challenges that can be used to unlock different forms of content in Valorant. Gunbuddy’s, sprays, titles, player cards, weapon skins and even new characters can all be unlocked through completing Contract challenges.
Title Titles are cosmetics in Valorant that are shown behind a player’s in-game name while in the lobby or the game’s loading screen. They can be unlocked through the seasonal battle pass or through completing an agent contract.
Weapon Skins Weapon Skins are cosmetics that change the appearance of a weapon. They can be purchased through the in-game store, earned through contracts or earned as part of the Act’s battle pass.
Spray Sprays are cosmetic images that can be sprayed onto the walls and floor of the map. Three sprays can be equipped, one for each stage of a round. Some sprays show animations or sound effects, and some of these can only be used at the start or end of a round. Sprays can be purchased through bundles, earned through the Battle Pass or can be unlocked through agent contracts.
Agent
Astra Ghanaian Agent Astra harnesses the energies of the cosmos to reshape battlefields to her whim. With full command of her astral form and a talent for deep strategic foresight, she’s always eons ahead of her enemy’s next move. Astra is an energetic and joyful agent who doesn't hold back what she wants to say. She is fairly straightforward when it comes to expressing herself and friendly banter is definitely her go-to style. Astra is from Ghanaian descent and has a dark skin tone. Her hair is braided and it represents her Ghanaian culture. She has a purple hoodie, and she pulls up the hood when she is in her Astral Form.
Breach Breach, the bionic Swede, fires powerful, targeted kinetic blasts to aggressively clear a path through enemy ground. The damage and disruption he inflicts ensures no fight is ever fair.
Brimstone Joining from the USA, Brimstone's orbital arsenal ensures his squad always has the advantage. His ability to deliver utility precisely and from a distance make him an unmatched boots-on-the-ground commander. Brimstone is the oldest of group, but he always encourages his team. He calls himself stubborn and will never leave his team behind. Commonly seen wearing a shirt with a chest plate over it. He wears an orange cap and has a gray moustache and beard. He wears gloves on both hands, and an arm bracer on his left wrist.
Chamber
Cypher The Moroccan information broker, Cypher is a one-man surveillance network who keeps tabs on the enemy’s every move. No secret is safe. No maneuver goes unseen. Cypher is always watching. Cypher is constantly gathering secrets, information and intel. He keeps most of this to himself, making sure that no one ever discovers them and only revealing anything he knows for a price.
He also tends to take parts and tools from his fellow agents whenever he needs them, often informing them later on that he has done so rather than asking them if he can use them beforehand. Cypher wears a hat with an antenna attached to it. This device is what's used to locate and transmit the locations of enemies when Neural Theft is used as it floats over the body at Cypher's command. He wears an overcoat where he keeps his utility stored and always has a mask on to keep his face hidden. This mask is high tech and vision-specific
Jett Representing her home country of South Korea, Jett's agile and evasive fighting style lets her take risks no one else can. She runs circles around every skirmish, cutting enemies before they even know what hit them. Jett is an aggressive agent who has a distinctive, sarcastic personality. Jett also has a cheeky, childish "in-your-face" attitude, seen commonly giving insults for feats she makes on the team and is always spouting her sheer amount arrogance. She does show a much more friendly personality towards teammates. Jett is a fair-skinned, short girl, being the smallest of the VALORANT agents. She has white hair, which she ties in a bun on the back. Her bangs are rather long and remain stably locked. Her eyes are a shade of blue, and she looks like she wears eyeliner. Her clothes are all in shades and tints of blue, including her darkest pieces of apparel.
KAY O KAY/O is a machine of war built for a single purpose: neutralizing radiants. His power to suppress enemy abilities cripples his opponents' capacity to fight back, securing him and his allies the ultimate edge. His face is a screen that displays different images based on what is happening. When he speaks, a peak meter is animated.
His body, arms, and head are made of metal. His legs are made out of what appears to be a combination of metal and leather. Parts of his body have electricity and energy visible, these parts include his forearms, the middle of his chest, and the sides of his legs.
KAY/O has been seen to use weapons such as the Judge, Bucky, Odin, and Vandal.
Killjoy The genius of Germany, Killjoy secures the battlefield with ease using her arsenal of inventions. If the damage from her gear doesn't stop her enemies, her robots debuff will help make short work of them. Killjoy is a young German woman with slick dark brown hair and brown eyes. She is often seen wearing a padded yellow jacket with a blue interior, purple "X" patches on either shoulder and a green beanie-like hat. Underneath the jacket she wears a gray shirt with a rising bars graphic. She has round glasses with black outlines, a pair of silver hoop earrings in either ear, and a pair of green shoes that resemble Converse Chuck Taylor's with silver toes and loose tongues. Covering her hands are a pair of black gloves with blue straps that exposes her ring and pinkie fingers. She wears black ripped skinny jeans with a green strap on her left thigh which is also connected to a fanny pack.
Omen A phantom of a memory, Omen hunts in the shadows. He renders enemies blind, teleports across the field, then lets paranoia take hold as his foe scrambles to learn where he might strike next. Omen shows some friendliness towards people he knows well such as Viper, shown by being able to call her by her real name despite her warning other agents to never do so. Omen wears gray armor, black pants, and a purple cape. His arms are wrapped in bandages, never revealing his form underneath. His face cannot be seen under his hood, with only three bright blue slits being present instead.
Phoenix Hailing from the U.K., Phoenix's star power shines through in his fighting style, igniting the battlefield with flash and flare. Whether he's got backup or not, he'll rush into a fight on his own terms. Phoenix is a dark skinned, youthful tall man of Afro-British descent who wears a black long sleeve shirt with a white Phoenix graphic underneath his white jacket. He wears dark baggy pants with straps that hold bullets shells and a pair of black sneakers that have white soles and orange laces. His jacket has fiery-colored lighting on it's inside, which possibly could be Radianite. His hair is in short black dreadlocks, bright orange dyed tips and shaved sides. Jett also calls him 'pretty boy', which indicates he might be attractive. His facial features, however, are undoubtedly sharp, having a strong jawline with high cheekbones. Phoenix also accessorizes with gold earrings and a ring with a crown emblem that matches the patch on the right shoulder of his jacket.
Raze Raze explodes out of Brazil with her big personality and big guns. With her blunt-force-trauma playstyle, she excels at flushing entrenched enemies and clearing tight spaces with a generous dose of “boom.” Raze is always playful, impulsive, and spontaneous. She radiates chaotic energy and creates havoc on the battlefield, destroying every obstacle that is blocking her path. According to Sage, she can be impatient and won't stick to plans.
Reyna Forged in the heart of Mexico, Reyna dominates single combat, popping off with each kill she scores. Her capability is only limited by her raw skill, making her highly dependent on performance. Reyna takes what she wants when she wants it, no matter who is standing in her way. She has a strong dislike for technology and thrives on the enemy's misery, and loves to compete with fellow Radiants to see who is the most powerful. She is often seen with the edges of her hair dyed purple. She is relatively exposed and only has one arm covered with the other exposed. Her sharp eyes make her menacing to look at.
Weapons
Bucky The Bucky is comparable to CS:GO Nova · The Nova's rock-bottom price tag makes it a great ambush weapon for a cash-strapped team.
Frenzy The Frenzy is comparable to CS:GO CZ75-Auto · A fully automatic variant of the CZ75, the CZ75-Auto is another inexpensive choice against armored opponents. But with very little ammo provided, strong trigger discipline is required.
Melee The Melee is comparable to CS:GO Knife · Quiet and always available, the knife has a fast, low-damage primary attack and a slow, high-damage secondary attack. A backstab will earn quiet players an instant kill.
Ares The Ares is comparable to CS:GO Negev · The Negev is a beast that can keep the enemy at bay with its pin-point supressive fire, provided you have the luxury of time to gain control over it.
Guardian The Guardian is not comparable to any CS:GO weapon. It is kinda unique.
Marshal The Marshal is comparable to CS:GO SSG 08 · The SSG 08 bolt-action is a low-damage but very cost-effective sniper rifle, making it a smart choice for early-round long-range marksmanship.
Phantom The Phantom is comparable to CS:GO M4A1-S · With a smaller magazine than its unmuffled counterpart, the silenced M4A1 provides quieter shots with less recoil and better accuracy.
Bulldog The Bulldog is comparable to CS:GO FAMAS · A cheap option for cash-strapped players, the FAMAS effectively fills the niche between more expensive rifles and the less-effective SMGs.
Sheriff The Sheriff is comparable to CS:GO Desert Eagle · As expensive as it is powerful, the Desert Eagle is an iconic pistol that is difficult to master but surprisingly accurate at long range.
Judge The Judge is comparable to CS:GO XM1014 · The XM1014 is a powerful fully automatic shotgun that justifies its heftier price tag with the ability to paint a room with lead fast.
Ghost The Ghost is comparable to CS:GO USP-S · A fan favorite from Counter-Strike: Source, the Silenced USP Pistol has a detachable silencer that gives shots less recoil while suppressing attention-getting noise.
Shorty The Shorty is not comparable to any CS:GO weapon. It is kinda unique.
