Gemstones description
Probably the most unique currency in the game, as players can only buy three of them directly and, in order to do that, they need a lot of blue essence (which is gotten by levelling up). They can also drop in chests and be bought in a few event bundles, but it's quite rare. They are exclusively used for hextech crafting unique skins (worth 10 gemstones), Wards (5 gemstones) and not-so-unique masterwork chest and key (worth 1 gemstone). How to get Gemstones
Gemstones can only be gotten from chest or orb drops, event missions and special event deals (such as essence emporium).
